Components of the SED
- Earth Sciences Division
- This Division conducts a broad program of scientific research, both theoretical and experimental, in the Earth sciences.
- Heliophysics Science Division
- This Division conducts mission development and research in solar physics, heliospheric physics, geospace physics and space weather.
- Solar System Exploration Division
- This Division conducts scientific research to explore the solar system and to study the formation and evolution of planetary systems.
- Astrophysics Science Division
- This Division supports the science requirements of the GSFC projects that explore the Universe and search for life.
- Goddard / GISS Employees Contribute to IPCC's Nobel Peace Prize Winning Work
