Brief Bio


Andrew (Andy) Needham is a research scientist and serves as the Contamination Control Scientist for the Artemis Internal Science Team. He has a background in meteoritics and planetary science, largely involving laboratory analyses of samples from asteroids, the Moon, and Mars. His research has included stable and radiogenic isotope analyses using plasma source and secondary ion mass spectrometry, as well as exploring astromaterials using X-ray and neutron computed tomography.
