Goddard Center Director Dr. Makenzie Lystrup will host the next centerwide town hall from the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York. Topics for discussion will include the latest budget updates, Goddard 2040, the center’s role in the agency’s Artemis program and Moon to Mars strategy, and the importance of GISS and Earth science missions to the Goddard portfolio.

Take Your Child To Work Day: Astro-animation
Animating the Mysteries of the Universe! —is brought to you by the Astro-Animators at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in conjunction with scientists at NASA GSFC. MICA students will debut their new animations with you and discuss their process for creating these masterpieces. Topics will include how the Moon was born, a mission to Venus, planets around other stars, how to find life, stars that glow in gamma rays, and mysterious cosmic rays. The students will be happy to discuss how to become an animator! Recommended for all ages.
