Brief Bio


Weather observer for the US Air Force 1981-1986 and DC Air National Guard from 1986-1989.  Student worker in UMCP Meteorology Department from 1987-1991 mainly working on network of computers for the department. 1991-1996 Faculty Research Assistant for Dept of Meteorology and UMCP. Since 1996 have been working in GMAO (was DAO) as data programmer and analyst.  Involved in monitoring of GEOS-5 real time DAS and forecast systems and have been involved in supporting SOLVE, POLARIS, and other recent campaigns like HS3, DISCOVER-AQ, ATTREX, SEAC4RS. ORACLES, and KORUS-AQ by providing customized GMAO forecast map products used to assist in flight planning of missions.
