Julia Barsi received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in imaging science with a concentration in remote sensing from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY. She is currently a calibration analyst with Science Systems and Applications, Incorporated, Greenbelt MD. She is involved with the characterization and calibration of the Landsat sensors, with an emphasis on the thermal band calibration.
