    Thomas Owens is a Software Engineer and Scientific Data System Programmer who serves as the Data Processing Coordinator for the Ocean Biology Processing Group (OBPG) at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, Maryland. Mr Owens recieved a B.S. in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University in 1999, and an M.S. in Environmental Science from The Johns Hopkins University in 2008. Before joining the OBPG in 2012, Mr Owens was a software engineer for the NASA Global Modelling and Assimilation Office.
